Welcome to Business Crime Direct. We are an independent non-profit making team located within the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We are in a unique position to help Merseyside businesses to PREVENT crime, REDUCE the fear of crime and RESTORE public confidence. We do this by:
- offering free and independent crime prevention and reduction advice
- setting up Crime Alert schemes to encourage businesses to work together and communicate to combat crime.

North West Truck Watch
Business Crime Direct is working with North West Police Forces to set up a Truckwatch through which intelligence and other infornmation can be rceived, exchanged and disseminated. At the recent Truckwatch Conference on 2nd October 2008 at Haydock, chaired by Louise Ellman, MP, several very informative presentations were made. Business Crime Direct arranged a two pronged conference at the BT Convention Centre, 08 Arena on 29th October 2008. The topics were Trade Waste/Re-Cycling and Hi-tech and Computer Fraud. They addressed business issues and concerns. There were several presentations which can be seen below:
